Love this place. Dishes are always so carefully prepared and interesting as well as delicious. The staff are all very attentive. Consistently good. Been coming here for years.

Strandpaviljoen Paal 17 is a fusion restaurant similar to creative dishes. From afternoon tea to dinner, I chose to eat in this restaurant. The [flavor] salad is fresher. If there are shrimps, it is better. Unfortunately, it is a vegetarian salad... The dessert is delicious, not greasy, and it is just right to drink tea!

It was very nice. We had the 4 course menu and a cheese platter and enjoyed every bite. Service was very friendly and helpful. Every course was well explained and we spent a good 3 hours here (because we wanted too:))

We enjoyed a wunderful evening! We had the 4 course menu surprise - it was just delicious! Excellent food carefully presented. The suggested wine matched perfectly. The service was caring and knowledgable about the dishes. Higly recommended if you wish to be delighted with some extraordinary dinner.

The food was ok. Conceptually it was good but lacked the finesse. Overall it was very bland and ingredients cancelled each other out. On their own they were tasty, together no taste was left.  For instance the sweet polenta in the desert took away from the popcorn and pineapple flavour. The bean pur&eacute;e was too bland that even with the bacon the dish was under seasoned. A pity really.
